Wonderful tour - best way to see Strasbourg.

Wonderful boat tour and the best way to see Strasbourg. Our company was great and spoke fluent English, German and French (and maybe other languages!). If you don’t mind the expense I highly recommend. This is much better and more comfortable than a mass boat tour. Visited Aug 2024.

This was booked to celebrate my birthday and it was absolutely divine! Captain Cedric was amazing and the trip will be a memory of a lifetime! Highly recommend this to anyone interested in seeing the beauty of Strasbourg by water.

Lovely way to see Strasbourg, both old and modern

This was a very relaxing way to see Strasbourg. A practical tip: the meeting point (pont d'anvers) was easy to get to riding the G bus from the central train station - exiting at the Stade Vauban stop. Captain Cedric provided bits of history and information about Strasbourg as we rode along the canals and through the locks. We particularly enjoyed the portion of the trip through Petit France. We were offered several options for wrapping up the trip, and rather than ride back to Pont d'anvers, we choose to get off at the european parliament (exiting at Petit France was another option.) This boat trip offers a different point of view of Strasbourg, you get a glimpse of both modern and old. We enjoyed our time on the boat.

I didn’t have the best experience arranging this tour.
Although Viator had two pick up sites with no difference in price, Cedric (boat captain) said we owed him 100€ for the pick up site we chose.
He pulled over along the shore stating we could get out there resulting in 25 minutes less of the tour. He said that it didn’t matter to him as he was picking up his next client at our pick up location. We felt somewhat pressured to get out which we did. When he thought that we were out of eyesight he turned around and went the other way.
Cedric knew the names of the sites we passed but not much history .
I was also told by Cedric, via WhatsApp not to respond to Viator but deal directly with him.

You are the first tired review in 3 years. You claim to have to pay 100€ more and this is not specified on viator, this is false! You have 2 different departure points, you do not want to join us at our usual departure point, but you want to leave the center and be picked up by boat., which we did, and this is necessarily paying, you knew it. When you write to me late at night, I ask you to use whatsapp which is more practical and quick to respond to you. As for the guided tour, you rent a boat with a captain, who explains the places to you, but who is not guided and is not qualified to talk about history. When at the end of your tour, we went all around the city, as with each of our clients, you missed absolutely nothing, you had the choice of staying with me to go through the last lock or going down 10 minutes before in the beautiful place of Strasbourg, Little France and that's what you chose. It is a shame to distort the truth, I would invite you to reread your reservation and see that it is clearly stated that you have to pay €100 extra if you wish to be picked up by boat, rather than coming to us yourself ;-)

Best 2 hours on a boat ever

Comfortable boat with enough space for 7 girls, very nice atmosphere, super friendly Captain Cedric, who gave the best tour and insights and took the best photos! 2 hours were totally worth it. Thanks for everything and à bientôt
