Got to visit versailles all thanks for tripadvisor for this last minute availability

A very well day spent at the versailles palace, beautiful art and architecture, we got last minute tickets thanks to tripadvisor, these were sold out on the official website, the price was little high but we don't mind paying for last minute booking, and the audio guide was decent, if it wasn't for tripadvisor we would have missed visiting the palace of versailles since we had limited time in the city.

The Versailles palace was absolutely fabulous, we booked with tripadvisor and had no trouble, the ticket though arrived on the date of our visit in morning, but everything worked fine, we got these tickets when these were unavailable anywhere else, we did not mind paying the premium, if you have more time buy the full access ticket with gardens and estate and spare a full day, as this property is huge. Loved it!

fire alarm interruption

we were there when the fire alarm and had to evacuate. we would like our money back as we spent all of 10 minutes inside and we’re unable to return.

Dear guest, we are very sorry to hear this, this is beyond our control, we are glad you had an easy access to the Palace with these tickets, we checked with the Palace, however they did not agree for the refund.

Very busy, the rooms were crowded and many looked very similar, not many guides around and audio not great. Expensive.

It was very busy, felt claustrophobic and the rooms were mostly very similar, the garden was nice. Food was expensive and not many places to sit, i would not return
